Here are some weapons that doesn't seem to be used by anyone.

As you can see, this looks like the Lazy Shell but with a redish, orangish color. It's possible that this was a weapon for Mario but got taken out.

This looks like the Troopa Shell but without wings.

This also looks like the Lazy Shell but green. Maybe it was for Luigi when they started working on the game...^_^

This is like taking the Nok Nok Shell and fusing it with the Troopa Shell.
