These sprites consist of unused sprites different characters in the game.
These are unused sprites of characters or objects that are in the game but are not shown, shown at a different angle,
or is just a palette or color difference of the same sprite. Like taking the Goomba and giving it a new color and calling
it Gu Goomba. If you see any sprites here that are actually in the game, email me and I will fix what's on my site.
Also provide me with where you can actually see the sprite. Either show me a screenshot, send me a savestate for Zsnes
or Snes9x, or just tell me exactly where I can find it.
The first sprite of Peach is seen in the game but doesn't actually have any animation. It's when Bowser and Mario
charge into the Chapel to rescue Peach from Booster when they bump into her and knock out her items which you have to find.
But for the animation, this is what it starts as.
For the second sprite, you can see that she is crying. Pretty simple.
For the last sprite, if you can't tell that's her eye. You know how fake cry goes, you pretend to cry then open
your eyes to see if they are buying your act. I'm pretty sure that is what this sprite was intended for. Probably
to fake care to Booster then she's all like "Is he buying it?". Anyway it'll look better once I get an actual animation
GIF going.

This is Geno when he bumps his head. The only time he bumps his head in the game was when he took over the doll,
Geno, for the first time and starts to move around and bumps his head on the stairs. But they way you see it was in
a different angle. Not sure why to they made this sprite, unless they had changes later on and whatnot.
For the first sprite, I'm pretty sure it's in the game when Belome 2 clones Geno and you simply hit him. It's basically
his animation for when he gets hit but just at a different angle of what your usually looking at.
The second sprite
shown here is when Geno has fallen/died/KO'd. It may have been intended for some kind of skit where Mario acts out things
to explain stuff to people.
The first set of sprites is of Toad. It's like a World Map version of Toad. I don't think they actually used
these sprites of Toad in the game at a 3/4 view small size. And no, these aren't Toad sprites from the parade at the
end of the game.
The second set is just a bigger verison of the Toad sprites above. The animation is just of
him walking.
This is just the scarecrow at a different angle. Like when a member gets turned into a scarecrow and they're watching
until their turn and they are looking to the up-right angle. But this is turned around. There's also ones of the
colors of Peach, Geno, Bowser, and Mallow so it's not just Mario's scarecrow.
This is Terrapin with a sword/dagger/knife. These are actually Terra Cotta from the second time you go to Bowser's
Keep, but with a Terrapin palette. Simple as that.
This is a Bandana Red from the Sunken Ship level with Johnny. What is this is actually the attack for B.R. if they
had this attack. What they do is actually bite you! You'd think if they had a shark enemy in the game, you would
think they would make them bite, but sadly no. Bandana Blue also has the same animation, duh it's just a palette difference,
same sprite. I wonder why they never had them actually bite you but instead just poke you with their spears.
I believe this is a Muckle. Anyway this enemy is a Magic Only enemy. Meaning it only uses Magic to attack.
I suppose to a last resort of when it runs out of magic (if it ever actually does) then what is does it, it might, go over
your head or come near you and shock or electrocute you with it's stinger. Basically it's a jellyfish if you think of
it that way.
This is a Lakitu if you couldn't tell. I'm not extacly sure what's for. No, it's not Lakitu without his cloud
because if it were, his shell would be on him. Unless they just made the cloud and shell the same sprite but keep the
Lakitu seperate, I dunno. Or have the shell, Lakitu body, and the cloud all seperate then just combine them together.
Well if it was neither of those, I'd guess it might have been for some kind of vehicle like the bus at Nimbus City.
Unused Scenes:
This
scene, acessed via Debug Menu (NOT Debug Room) showing Peach at Booster's Tower was never used in the actual game. This type
of scene, however, would have been used during some kind of battle. How you ask? When Peach talks, her dialogue is in subtitles
and only when you press any button will she progress in speaking. Also, it is located in the monster area of the game. It
can also be acessed via Pro Action Replay (PAR) codes, the 'Fight Monster xx' code. GameGenie (GG) can also be used.
My
guesses are: in the first part, when you reach Booster's Tower you meet up with Bowser. Bowser might have challenged you to
a fight and during the fight, this scene might have occured, thus Peach saying "Did I hear voices?". Though this scene was
turned into a normal scene when meeting up with Bowser in the actual game.
The second scene might of happened when
you face Booster (instead of winning the curtin minigame) and when you beat him, Mario checks the door, sees it is locked,
then Booster tells Mario to step aside then he opens it. Then you go on facing Knife Guy and Crate Guy.
